Assessment Plan

Purpose and Learning Outcome

 

The Purpose of this assessment plan is to present what skills has been gained by the preschool students while participating in circle time activities. Examples of skills that are learned during circle time are counting (Calendar) repetition and recall through the use of songs. Predictions what comes next (Days of the week)

Learning Outcome

The students in the class will learn to identify numbers and words. Students will be able to recall numbers, words and predict what comes before or after...

 

Assessment Context

 

During Circle time, students will have the opportunity to count the numbers on the calendar aloud, as the teacher points to each number. Students can also show their understanding of what is learned when answering questions such as what day comes after Monday.  What day comes before Monday?
Holistic Rubric: Cooking with Pre-school Children
Rubric will outline learning outcomes based on students learning 1) new words, 2) fractions and 3) science experiments
